Inventory Receiving & Data Entry Specialist (10-30 hours/week)

Are you an organized, data-driven thinker? As an Inventory Receiving & Data Entry Specialist, you will identify, prioritize, and enter media (i.e. CDs, DVDs, video games, software, vinyl, books) into our online system. This is an exciting position for someone who wants to gain experience in operations and inventory management.

Enjoy a part-time, flexible schedule in this position! Hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 7am - 7pm.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, prioritize and enter various media in our online system.
  2. Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and standardization within all operations.

Qualifications:

  1. A high school diploma or GED. Some college experience or AP coursework preferred.
  2. Experience working with software and/or data entry. A proven record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently.

Do you like to repair and restore things? Our Quality Control Specialist will assess, repair, restore, and clean CDs, DVDs, software and video games so they may be added to our growing inventory.

  1. Clean, repair, restore, and improve the quality of CDs, DVDs, software and video games.
  2. Verify the integrity, ensure playability, and assess the condition of media.
  3. Prioritize items to be entered into our online system.
  4. Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and standardization within all operations.

Vinyl Specialist (10-20 hours/week)

Do you enjoy classic vinyl records? The Media Foundation has an abundance of vinyl media that needs care and attention. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fulfill that role. As our Vinyl Specialist, you will identify vinyl and prepare it for sale.

  1. Fulfill daily orders for shipping by identifying, pulling, and packing various media (i.e. CDs, DVDs, video games, software, vinyl, books).
  2. File new items into our inventory and maintain organization of our physical library.

Customer Support Specialist (10-20 hours/week)

Do you enjoy problem-solving? Join our customer service team as Customer Support Specialist! You will contact our customers to address their questions and concerns about their orders.

  1. Answer customer phone calls and emails in a courteous manner.
  2. Clearly address customer needs pertaining to their online orders.

Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator (15-20 hours/week)

Are you energized by making new connections and being around people? At the Media Foundation volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. As the Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator you will maintain and nurture our rapidly growing volunteer program, as the main point of contact for all volunteers. You will leverage email, community connector websites, social media, and our website to assist with scheduling, confirming, and coordinating the amazing people that assist us on a daily basis. You will be building relationships with volunteers who join our program through local high schools, colleges, universities, churches, corporate partners, and community service referrals.

Responsibilities:

Volunteer Coordination

  1. Work with our various partners who market our volunteer opportunities online.
  2. Maintain communication with current volunteers and identify new candidates via email, phone, and online sites.
  3. Provide a comprehensive orientation to new volunteers and demonstrate the specific tasks they are asked to accomplish.
  4. Obtain accurate volunteer contact information and follow up as needed with timely communication.
  5. Be available for possible evening and weekend work parties as well as offsite events.

Community Engagement

  1. Represent TMF to the community in a positive light through public speaking, meetings, email, phone and online sites.
  2. Maintain communication and develop new engagement opportunities with community and corporate partners.

Qualifications:

  1. A high school diploma or GED. Some college experience or AP coursework preferred.
  2. Experience in volunteer management and/or community outreach and engagement.
  3. Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills.
  4. Expertise in public speaking and an ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
  5. Experience working with software and/or data entry.

Administrative Support Specialist (20 hours/week)

Do you enjoy working independently at a variety of tasks? Are you detail oriented and highly organized? Our Administrative Support Specialist position encompasses bookkeeping (with the support of a licensed accountant), human resources, and assistance to our Executive Director.

Enjoy a part-time, flexible schedule in this position! Hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 7am - 7pm.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all open accounts for TMF and maintain accurate records of income, expenses, deposits and payments, utilizing Quickbooks Pro.
  2. Perform HR functions for a small staff, most of which includes employee contract management and payroll processing.
  3. Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director as needed.
  4. Answer phones and greet guests.

Qualifications:

  1. A high school diploma or GED. Some college experience or AP coursework preferred.
  2. Experience with bookkeeping and/or general administrative support. Experience performing human resources functions.
  3. Experience using Quickbooks, or the ability to learn new software quickly.
  4. Strong organizational skills and a proven record of attention to detail.
